I never thought I would be chosen by a dog. That morning, I was riding my bike to work when I suddenly saw a dog running wildly on the road. Worried it might get hit by a car, I guided it to the side of the road. After making sure it was safe, I was about to leave, but to my surprise, it came straight toward me.
It placed its paw directly on me and clung to my leg. It was then that I noticed its fur had almost completely fallen off, and there were many red, swollen spots on its exposed skin, indicating a severe skin disease.
Seeing the pleading look in its eyes, I felt an immense pain in my heart, but if I didn't leave soon, I would be late for work...
