While soft skills are not very well defined, there is a large group of skills that you can practice in order to help your career as a software developer - time management, teamwork, professional attitude, listening and other skills can help you a lot when you try to become a better programmer.


Soft skills will, whether we like or not, have a bigger and bigger impact on our careers. Communication skills are becoming critical as we work in larger organizations where transfering knowledge and clarifying details are major problems. Adaptability becomes a vital skill as our organizations, processes and practice change constantly. In this video I cover these and a few other sills that will help you to have a better software developer career.
