It has been nearly 10 years now since Bloodborne took the gaming world by storm. The team at fromsoftware crafted a lovecraftian action horror masterpiece, that still has people discussing today discussing bloodborne lore, why bloodborne is a masterpiece and why bloodborne is the best souls game. Some people even go so far as to explain why bloodborne is better than elden ring and even why they think bloodborne is the best game ever. Of course like any conversation about any fromsoft soulsborne game, you'll get the occasional naysayer who will tell you why bloodborne is overrated, but they are very few and far between for bloodborne, compared to the likes of dark souls 3. If anything the only contentious issue you will regularly find with bloodborne is that it is not yet bloodborne 60fps.
After receiving multiple comments about why bloodborne is the best game ever on my videos that weren't even about bloodborne I set out to find out just what exactly makes bloodborne such a universally beloved hot take on the soulsborne subgenre. In this video I won't tell you that it's a good game, you already know that, but I will look beneath the surface and past the obvious, to try and figure out why bloodborne is a masterpiece.
