【About the railway】
MOB (Montreux-Berner Oberland-Bahn) is a Swiss railway company operating in the canton of Bern and the canton of Vaud. The history of MOB dates back to 1899, when the company was founded to build a railway line from Montreux on Lake Geneva to Zweisimmen in the Bernese Oberland.

Today, MOB operates a scenic route through the Swiss Alps known as the GoldenPass Line. This line passes through spectacular landscapes and connects Montreux on Lake Geneva with Gstaad, Interlaken and Lucerne. The MOB trains are known for their modern panoramic carriages, which offer passengers unparalleled views of the breathtaking scenery.

In addition to the GoldenPass Line, MOB also operates other routes, including the rack railway line from Montreux to Les Avants and the line from Zweisimmen to Lenk im Simmental.
