Former RSS chief Subhash Velingkar has appeared before the Bicholim Police Station amid tight security on Thursday. Hundreds of Police personnel cordoned off the police station due to the communal disharmony stirred by Velingkar. The anticipatory bail was filed by Velingkar at High Court after the District session court rejected his anticipatory bail. The hearing was held on Thursday and the High court permitted former RSS Chief Subhash Velingkar to appear before Bicholim police station by 4 pm on Thursday.
