Retired Naval Officer and RCMP member Gerry White served with the United Nations in Cambodia after the Khmer Rouge killed 1.5 million citizens. What he witnessed still haunts him but he takes solace in the fact he was able to bring some comfort and joy to children left destitute by years of war.
