The Honda VFR750R, coded 'RC30', has had a more profound impact on the racing world than pretty much any other production bike. The RC30 is inextricably linked to the history of the Isle of Man TT Races and made its mark from the outset in the 1988 Formula One TT Race which Joey Dunlop won on an early version of the bike, setting an outright lap record in the process.

At the Isle of Man TT races the machine thrived in the hands of Steve Hislop, Carl Fogarty and Nick Jefferies amongst other top road racers and in the Formula One TT race, the podium wass filled with RC30 machines as Nick Jefferies took a very popular first TT win, ten years after winning the Senior Manx Grand Prix.
