Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola praised his former player at Bayern Munich and now Bayer Leverkusen head coach Xabi Alonso, and also stated his belief that next season in the English Premier League will be "tougher", regardless of who comes in to replace Jurgen Klopp in the Liverpool hotseat.
