On June 19, 2023 I was flying my Timber Evo at a field near Columbus Indiana. Near the end of the flight, climbing out at full throttle, the entire motor assembly came off! That included the motor mount, motor, cowling, prop and spinner.

I focused on landing, which was successful despite a very tail-heavy CG. The motor assembly apparently went into a heavily wooded strip and was never found despite hours of looking.

The plastic fuselage motor mount attached to the carbon fiber rods is not sold as a separate part. The entire fuselage must be replaced to get that one small part. The video shows the entire process from start to finish.

Horizon Hobby was sent a problem report. They stepped up and supplied some replacement parts. Thank you Horizon! In my 3 years of working with the company they have been incredibly supportive.
