Yes, I am aware that Merian Cooper, has some questionable filmography. Some of which, people would consider racist. Most of which, I haven't seen. However, that doesn't deter from the point I'm making whatsoever. To my knowledge we don't know Cooper's views on Race, but even if he had bad race takes, that doesn't change his intentions and motivations for creating King Kong. It would be possible that his ideas could leak into the making of Kong, but as I stated in the video, it is not the groundwork and foundations of the film, informing its creation. Thus still making the allegory theory redundant.
