The IDEA (Innovate, Discover, Experience, Achieve) Labs at San Diego Public Library (SDPL) provides a space where patrons can learn to make creative projects through a DIY approach, direct experimentation and from each other. There are 11 IDEA Labs within the SDPL system. Each Lab has a theme reflecting community interest and needs. IDEA Labs were made possible with the support of the Library Foundation SD.
