Background:
Welcome to 2009 Topps Star Wars Galaxy Series 4! Over a full decade passed since the release of Series 3, and during that time the Star Wars universe had undergone a dramatic transformation. New films, new characters, and new storylines had made their way into canon. While the Star Wars landscape shifted, Galaxy’s dedication to art-centric cards remained steadfast and included some of the most beloved portraitures to this day.

Why We Love These Cards:
On card number three seventy six, Darth Sidious snarls savagely, superimposed over his own gnarled likeness, his face literally part of the galaxy over which he reigns supreme.

Devotees of Hayden Christensen, uh, I mean Anakin Skywalker, will go gaga for the depiction on card number 379, his blue lightsaber in stunning contrast to a soul that has all but fallen to the dark side.

And on card number three eighty, Padme Amidala is shown as a fighter, a lover, and and a leader who sacrificed everything to bring peace to the galaxy.
