Following a screening of 'Mao’s Last Dancer' 2009, director and BIFF 2018 Patron Bruce Beresford and Li Cunxin, dancer, subject of the film and the Artistic Director of Queensland Ballet discussed, for the first time, the challenges of making this autobiographical film. This remarkable discussion was chaired by BIFF 2018 Patron and acclaimed producer, Sue Milliken AO.
