Backpacking through Honduras in 2020 for the first time and we visited the Copan Ruins. We came in via road from Guatemala to see the ruins of the Mesoamerican city. This former capital of a Maya Kingdom had been on my bucket-list for a while, but I hadn't been able to figure out a way to get there until a few months ago.
