Captain Heath and I drove out to Hempstead Texas to The BarbQue Store to reload on our Competition Rubs, Spices and Injections.. They had this awesome Red Box Smoker on the showroom floor....we had seen fellow competitor Brian Fox using one for his Competition Chicken and Captain Heath decided to give it a try.
Was that ever a good decision.. 1st cook we did these Ribs and Chicken.. Loaded up a chimnia of Charcoal and we were up and running in no time.. Help steady temps and the chicken came out so Juicy even without any injections.. The same with the ribs and I never wrapped them during the cook, they ran naked the entire cook.
This is one Phenomanal Smoker.. Now I have to dfigure out how to get me one...
