Welcome to this quick video tutorial by us at Allegory Gallery!

Having moved into a new town, we're getting a lot of people in the shop who've never made jewelry before—it's very exciting to us! Some of them believe it's difficult to learn or expensive to do. So, we wanted to make a very quick little tutorial to show how easy and inexpensively you can make a bracelet for yourself or a loved one.

This bracelet is made out of Lucerna bicone beads (a style of Czech glass), stretch cord, and vintage white seed beads for spacers.

People sometimes don't believe when we say that you can make a project for less than $5.00, so let's take a look at the breakdown of materials and costs for this bracelet:

2 x Lucerna Bicone Bead Strand - $2.00/each (enough for two bracelets of this size) — Total Approximate Cost for this project = $2.00

22 x Vintage Seed Beads - $2.00/Tube (one tube would be enough to make at least 20-30 bracelets of this size) — Total Approximate Cost for this project = $0.09

9" (approximately) of Stretch Cord - $3.50 for 32 feet of cord (enough for about 40 bracelets of this size) — Total Approximate Cost for this project = $0.08

Total Approximate Cost for the entire project = $2.17

Of course, you'll spend a bit more to get everything, as we only sell full tubes of seed beads and full strands of stretch cord (for example), but you'll have lots of supplies left to make more items with those!

Get many of the supplies to make a bracelet like this one (in your own choice of colors) on our website or in our store at 608 Grove Avenue in Moxham (Johnstown, PA)!
