Holmfirth is a beautiful English town in Yorkshire. Located in the Kirklees in West Yorkshire, Holmfirth is a town with many shops, restaurants, and beautiful landscapes. Only a few miles away from the Pennines, Holmfirth has a lot of great footpaths in the area including some along the River Holme. I walk around the town as well as check out the Last of the Summer Wine exhibition, visit a couple parks, and explore a footpath above the town with breathtaking views of the English countryside. Holmfirth is where the longest running comedy series in the world, "Last of the Summer Wine", was filmed which ran from 1973-2010 which starred actors Bill Owen, Peter Sallis, and Brian Wilde.
