Today Savilles' Travels takes you to the beautiful island of Corfu in Greece. My Mum and I stayed at Domes of Corfu. This hotel sits on what I believe to be one of the best beaches in Glyfada, Corfu. It deserves its 5 stars with impeccable service, beautiful food and drinks & its modern clean design.

We stayed on a Half Board basis which gave us dining in the buffet restaurant. We were provided with bottled water during our stay but paid for additional drinks.
Would I stay again? Yes without a doubt but I love visiting different places so for now I'm off to Dubai & Maldives......

POSITIVES
Location - stunning beach which changes from rough sea where you can jump the waves to a bath like calm tranquil pool of water depending on the weather
Pelekas Kaisers Observatory is a viewing platform atop a craggy rock and gives panoramic views across the island and is perfect for watching the sun set
Great Comfortable sunbeds by pool and beach
Half Board food was very good
Service was 5*
Drinks were excellent quality
Pool Towels Provided, you can use as any as you want
Chilled relaxed vibe throughout hotel
Our room was quiet
30min transfer from Airport
Only 30mins into Corfu Town (there is a bus which only cost a few euros of a taxi costs around 40 euros one way)
Pazuzu - Beautiful restaurant bar located at the end of the beach which was amazing views and it cheaper than the hotel)
Coffee making facilities, hairdryer, iron, mini fridge and toiletries in the room
Waiter service to your sunbed
Always sun beds available, no need to reserve
The hotel smelt like a spa everywhere
Lifts to all floors
Food labeled and indicated allergens

NEGATIVES
Pool was chilly mid May- not heated
The A La Carte restaurants are not included in the Half Board Package - would have been nice to get 1 visit per stay
Drinks are on the expensive side (if you go out you can pay as little as 6 euros for a beer and a glass wine - in the hotel this would cost 13 euros)
Our twin beds were very firm and uncomfortable but I heard others say the King Sized beds were lovely
No atmosphere/entertainment in the evenings (I know the hotel is working on this)
