"This game was developed by Raven Software, a subsidiary of Activision, in 2010 who were not doing too well at the time of its release. The previous year, they had released Wolfenstein, which was given decent reviews, but overall, the game had underperformed. In between the release of Wolfenstein and Singularity, around 70 to 75 staff members were let go, causing the game to be delayed. It bears noting that this company now works on COD and is doing very well, but the period of time between 2009 and 2011 were rough on them to say the least. If a tree falls in the woods and no one's around to hear it, does it make a noise? It's almost as if the company wanted it to fail, something wildly confusing for what should be a smash hit game. In fact, I thought this game was so good and up the alley of one of my military friends that I forced him to play it with us both on call. Funny clips from that will be interspersed throughout this video because we had a great time. And at this point, you begin…"
