Before proceeding with service yourself, check the website https://www.sunroofsettlement.com/vw to see if your vehicle may be covered by the extended warranty. If you do the work yourself you will likely forfeit your ability to claim reimbursement for parts/labor performed. For those that have already performed the service themselves, sorry, I'm not sure there is anything you can do to claim reimbursement for your time/labor.

The VW Sportwagen Panoramic Roof may look nice but it is prone to clogging and leaking. There is a TSB 60 18 03 October 2, 2018 so check with your dealer to see if you are eligible for a free fix from the dealership. In this video I will show you how to access the drain lines and drain holes and check to see if they are clogged. Also some tips are provided to avoid this issue in the future.
