A few weeks ago, I shared a reel of a kombucha can claiming to narrate “Our Story”, but it left us with generic phrases about ingredients and experiences. The plot twist? My friend revealed that she was introduced to this kombucha through a heartfelt story of its female founder at a local farmer’s market. This engaging story, however, was absent from the can and the brand's website.

What can brands learn? First, merely labeling something as "Our Story" doesn't automatically craft a compelling tale. Second, sometimes, the best brand stories are those casually shared, often overlooked in formal branding efforts.
