This is a real life inspirational story, in the heart of New Delhi India, near ITO, is a Chaiwala, that goes about his day, selling hot cups of Masala Chai, you could easily miss that there is more to this Chaiwala. The Wrinkles on the face always talk about the experience and not just the age. Laxman Rao, age 62, is a tea staller along the roadside of ITO area in central Delhi, he moonlights as an author and has written 24 novels out of which 12 have been published, he sells on Amazon. Yes, he is a Chaiwala! a tea seller on the footpaths of Deli, yet he is a writer, publisher and distributer of his books.

A Marathi by birth, Laxman Rao insists on writing only in Hindi language and has been rewarded and recognised by eminent constitutional heads like Late Prime Minister Mrs Indira Gandhi, Former President Mrs Pratibha Patil and much more.
His books, such as Ramdas, Renu, Nayi Duniya Ki Nayi Kahani and many more, are available at Delhi Public Library and many school libraries. This man defied all odds and achieved what he wanted to. A true inspiration!
