On the evening of Saturday, September 2, members of Miami-Dade Fire Rescue (MDFR) Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) Florida Task Force One (FL-TF1) arrived back home at the MDFR Training Center after being deployed for Hurricane Idalia.

Throughout their deployment, FL-TF1 assisted in conducting damage assessments throughout the neighborhoods in several areas in the Big Bend region of the northern part of the state of Florida. Additionally, the team worked alongside local and state agencies to provide aid to the residents in these communities.
