We took the family around Wrights Lake before hiking out to Enchanted Pools in El Dorado National Forest. Usually, you can see the Sierra Nevadas above the lake, but it was unusually overcast with low-hanging clouds. After exploring the lakeshore, we crossed creeks, avoided cliffs, and navigated trails until we reached Enchanted Pools. It did not disappoint!
