Animation I made for my sophomore video & motion graphics class final. This was a huge experiment with Blender; I'd only done some basic modeling practice before this and a grease pencil animation (that I'm sadly not uploading because I'd fully doxx myself), so I was learning most of everything as I went, wrestling Blender into the ground to do my bidding. I won, but at the cost of 90 hours of sleepless nights. I turned this in back in May, but I just now decided to do some clean-up and upload for the public.
Special thanks to the Studio 401 crew who kept me and each other sane while we whiled away the hours and helped each other beat various art software into submission.
Inspired by Soul (2020), Ratatouille (2007), Louie Zong, Roy Decarava, and Blue Note Records album covers.
