This video covers one of the jobs I was hired to do recently. It consisted of climbing and felling two trees, then bucking and stacking the wood. The second tree was maple and they'll burn that next winter, however he didn't need the whole tree so he let me take 2 of the 24" logs, about 10 ft each, and have them milled. I'll get those another day from John McCluskey!

The video only covers the climbing and the felling this time. The first tree I climbed and set a rope in the top to keep it pulled the direction I was felling it so it didn't fall in the rode behind the tree. The second consisted of removing the branches and tops before I could fell the tree without it getting stuck in other surrounding trees--I was not about to climb more trees just for fun!
I staged the brush and came to pick it all up another day.
