The headlights are these 90s F150s and Broncos are ok. They aren't super bright and the diffused lens makes them look dated. If you want brighter headlights with a more defined beam pattern, then you need to upgrade your headlight housings to HID projector headlights. The process is simple and straight forward. I start by removing the front grille which gives better access to the headlight frames. I remove the screws from the top of the headlight frames. Then I unplug all the bulb harnesses from the headlights and turn signals.
Next, I unbolt the turn signal housing by removing the two 10mm nuts from the backside of the housing. This will free the turn signal and marker housings, plus the frame. With all of that removed. the headlight can be removed by pulling up in the three steel tab retainers that hold the headlight to the inner plastic frame.
The install of all of this is simply the reverse. If switching the turn signal housings to clear lenses, then you will need to change the OE bulbs from clear to amber. For wiring the HID projector bulbs, refer to the video and follow the steps carefully.
