In addition, school-age children will experience changes, such as puberty, losing baby teeth and gaining permanent (adult) teeth, and more.
School-age children are also at risk of harm due to the new activities they will engage in, such as bike riding, scooters, swimming, and more.
School-age children will also face obstacles such as self-concept development, bullying and harm from others, obesity risks, and more.
