When dealing with people we tend to assume many things about the person in front of us. It is normal for us to make a crude joke or mimic the person when they make us annoyed or frustrated. Normal doesn't make it right though... Have now been on the other side, hearing doctors degrade my character and basically called me a liar and flat out classify me as a drug seeker...it hurt. So here is a message to all from someone who has been on both sides of the situation. Be careful with what you say and when you say it, not only did I leave still physically in pain but I also left emotionally hurt and humiliated. Nothing makes you better than someone else, not race or job or sex or age NOTHING.
