In the near future, humanity's lunar outpost will undoubtedly become a permanent fixture, marking a significant leap towards our expansion into the cosmos. However, our ambitions don't stop there, as our sights are firmly set on the red planet Mars, which will solidify our status as an interplanetary species. Yet, an even grander milestone awaits us—becoming an interstellar civilization. To achieve this feat, we must plant our feet on a planet, encircling a star beyond our own Sun. Thus, our initial objective is to successfully land on a celestial body orbiting Proxima Centauri, the closest star to our solar system. Remarkably, the Proxima Centauri system presents a lot of new phenomena that will astonish us, distinguished from the familiar dynamics of our home system. It is essential to gain a comprehensive understanding of our neighbouring stars and their planetary companions, and this video will shed light on key aspects such as Alpha Centauri, Proxima Centauri, and exoplanets like Proxima b.

ഏതാനും വർഷങ്ങൾക്കുള്ളിൽ തന്നെ ചന്ദ്രനിൽ മനുഷ്യന്റെ ഒരു permanent outpost അഥവാ സ്ഥിര സാനിധ്യം ഉണ്ടാകും എന്നുള്ള കാര്യത്തിൽ സംശയമില്ല.
നമ്മുടെ അടുത്ത പ്രധാന ലക്‌ഷ്യം Mars അഥവാ ചൊവ്വയാണ്. ചൊവ്വയിൽ കാല് കുത്തുന്നതോടു കൂടി മനുഷ്യൻ ഒരു interplanetary species ആയി മാറും. അതിനും ഇനി അതികം കാലതാമസം ഉണ്ടാവില്ല,
അടുത്ത ഒരു പ്രധാന നാഴികക്കല്ല് ഒരു inter stellar species അഥവാ നക്ഷത്രാന്തര ജീവി വർഗം ആയി വളരുക എന്നുള്ളതാണ്. അത് സാധ്യമാകണമെങ്കിൽ സൂര്യനെ അല്ലാതെ മറ്റൊരു നക്ഷത്രത്തെ ഭ്രമണം ചെയ്യുന്ന ഒരു planetഇൽ നമ്മൾ കാലു കുത്തണം. സ്വാഭാവികമായും നമ്മുടെ ആദ്യ ലക്‌ഷ്യം Proxima Centauri എന്ന നക്ഷത്രത്തെ ചുറ്റുന്ന ഏതെങ്കിലും ഒരു ഗ്രഹത്തിൽ ചെന്നിറങ്ങുക എന്നുള്ളതാണ്. കാരണം സൂര്യനോട് ഏറ്റവും അടുത്ത് കിടക്കുന്ന നക്ഷത്രം Proxima Centauri ആണ്. മാത്രമല്ല ആ നക്ഷത്രത്തെ ചുറ്റുന്ന ചില ഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ നമ്മൾ കണ്ടെത്തിയിട്ടുമുണ്ട്. പക്ഷെ നമ്മുടെ solar സിസ്റ്റത്തെ അപേക്ഷിച്ചു നോക്കുമ്പോ ഒരുപാട് വ്യത്യാസങ്ങൾ ഉള്ള ഒരു സിസ്റ്റം ആണ് പ്രോക്സിമ സെന്റൗറിയുടെ സിസ്റ്റം. നമുക്കത്ര പരിചയമില്ലാത്ത ഒരുപാട് പ്രതിഭാസങ്ങൾ നമുക്കവിടെ കാണാൻ കഴിയും. മൂന്നു നക്ഷത്രങ്ങൾ അടങ്ങിയ Alpha Centauri എന്ന star സിസ്റ്റത്തിലെ ഒരു നക്ഷത്രം മാത്രമാണ് ഈ Proxima Centauri.
