It’s completely true that water is good for you and important for every part of your body. Water helps to regulate your body’s temperature and keep your digestion regular. But what happens when you aren’t drinking enough water? Fluid loss can cause fatigue, anxiety, memory difficulty, lower ability to concentrate and give you headaches.

Some symptoms to look out for are thirst, muscle cramps, not urinating often, dark or yellow urine and dry mouth.

The U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine said the adequate daily fluid intake is 124 ounces for men and around 92 ounces for women.

The easiest way to drink more water is to carry a water bottle with you and refill it throughout the day.
