The Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) is an integrated feature across the Mazda range, designed to monitor the tyre pressures. In the event when the alert light comes on, it indicates that one or more of the tyres has fallen below the recommended minimum pressure.

If the light appears on the dashboard, it is important to first visually check the tyres to see whether there is any obvious loss in pressure due to a puncture. More commonly, the light will simply indicate a small drop in pressure that could be caused by a significant change in the weather temperature; cold weather reduces pressure and hot weather increases it. The remedy is to check the tyre pressures and bring them back to the recommended levels.
