I hate to admit it but I never knew Columbus, Georgia, was a premier white water rafting destination. I only knew it as that city 90-minutes south of Atlanta. When my crew arrived we were blown away by how proud the residents were of their city and just how much fun you can have on the river in Columbus.

This is one of the more ambitious stories I produced for The Southern Weekend and I love the way it turned out. We had one walk through day then the entire story was shot with three cameras and an audio guy floating down a river.
