In today’s video we’re looking at the Target RedCard! It comes in several versions but the Red Card we’re reviewing is actually a debit card. That’s right, Target offers their own debit card.

Now it only works at Target but it does have some nice features. Here they are:
1. The Target Red Debit Card will get you 5% savings on all your normal purchases at Target and on Target.com. There are always some caveats with this but 5% savings is great! It’s not cashback, it’s just straight savings.
2. You’ll get free 2 day shipping on most items from target.com
3. You get a 30 day extended return window
4. You’ll get 5% off Starbucks inside target
5. You’ll get 5% off same day grocery delivery
6. And you’ll save 5% on specialty gift cards!

Beyond that, I love the RedCard because you can get a debit card for your spouse. And you don’t have to open a bank account with Target. Literally it takes purchases out of your existing bank account. I love that.

The thing to keep in mind is this thought. You have to ensure you have enough money in your bank account. Because if you don’t, you’ll get charged an overdraft fee from Target. You definitely don’t want that.

The other thing about the Target’s RedCard Debit Card is you need to know, there is fraud protection. But you need to let them know IMMEDIATELY if you suspect fraud or if your card is stolen. That’ll minimize your chances of being held responsible for fraudulent purchases.

Overall, I love this card! It provides a lot of savings and it’s perfect for those who shop at target frequently.
