#Rampart wasn't epic today, 4 hangs still had a decent flight. I launched after Paul at 3 PM and flew for over two hours. Our maximum altitude was around 6,400 ft. The lift in front of launch only went up a hundred feet above launch, and there wasn't much lift on the way to the 1st wall. I saw Luis and Paul headed to the 1st wall at a very low altitude, and they were able to climb up, so I followed them. I think the wind was too north and also very hot and humid due to high pressure, which made the thermals not that good. Paul and Luis headed to the second wall few times, but only found sinky air. Luckily, the thermal at the 1st wall was consistent. I had a smooth landing at 5 PM on the carrier deck. Luis, Paul Dees , and Shahrokh Kazem also had a good landing. Overall, it was still a great Rampart flight. 👍
