Driving around in the astonishing Rüdesheim wide area. I drove two roundtrips. One doing the North above Rüdesheim in the direction of Koblenz and one doing West driving around Idar-Oberstein. In both cases I had fantastic weather making it even better. The surroundings of Rüdesheim are really beautiful. It has less traffic as the other well-known areas as the Eifel and Sauerland. For motorcyclists the Rüdesheim area offers very good roads meandering through the lush green valleys and cute towns to visit. I stayed at a large and fantastic campsite called "Campingplatz am Rhein" which indeed... is located directly at the banks of the river Rhine.
