Granite countertops are an attractive addition to many bathroom designs. One of the nicest things about using this type of counter material is the ability to install the sink in a recessed or undermount position. This means the sink is attached to the underside of the granite, allowing you to easily clean the counter by pushing water and debris straight into the sink rather than into the sink's rim. While many granite vanity tops come with the sink attached, others require the sink to be installed in the bathroom just before the granite is placed on the vanity.
