Demo of route planning apps and EV charging maps

Zap Map great for chargers around you or your destination. I also use myAudi charger map for this and Octopus ElectroVerse as I have charging accounts with them.

ABRP I find best for route planning. The etron, having a flat charging curve, can be very flexible about where and how long to stop. Some cars charge very quickly below 50% but very slowly above that. So it can be better to make more stops but only half charge up. ABRP knows this.

Google MyMap with high power hubs - brilliant resource and he has another showing hubs under construction so you can see how the infrastructure is improving.

MyAudi and the car built in Nav are good, and easy to use when on a journey. But sometimes it’ll pick single 50kw chargers when there’s a high power hub a few miles along the journey. Or it’ll suggest charging slowly to 95% and arriving with more battery than needed. The car downloads updated maps every few weeks. #audi #audietron #ev #myaudi #etron
