There's low flying, and then there's this! Join this US Navy pilot in the cockpit of his F/A-18 Hornet as he flies at ultra-low level through the canyons of Northern California, before crossing into Oregon towards the end of the video. The route the pilot is flying is known as VR-1251 and is used for low level target penetration training as it starts over the Pacific and ends at NAS Fallon, Nevada, after flying over the Cascade and Sierra mountains.
