You guys asked us to show more of the SETTING PROCESS and that is exactly what we have done in this week's video.

We thought we'd make this delicate 18ct wh ite gold diamond half eternity ring as a piece to offer for sale in the shop we're opening AND, at the same time, make a video on my approach to setting these stones.

As a goldsmith (or as goldsmiths) we develop our skills in manipulating precious metal into stunning pieces of jewellery. We design, we plan and we execute with the final product in mind, using our minds and our hands and these same faculties are involved with stone setting.

I learnt how to set out of necessitiy and have been nurturing and developing my skill for as long as I've been making jewellery. It's become a passion and a pleasure and I want the same for anyone else who is curious about taking their work to the next level. YOU CAN DO IT and hopefully, by making videos like these - it can help to answer some of the questions you might.
