The title makes sense if you look at the previous (and next) Mario videos, I promise!

Well, we've finally arrived at what might be considered the best 3D Mario game in the series. Does it hold up? Spoiler alert: Yes, yes it does. By a large margin.

Is this a review or a retrospective? I can never tell.

By the way, yes, I know that it's out on the Nintendo Switch in the 3D All Stars pack, but I vastly prefer playing it on the Wii, okay? Oh, also yeah I'm not gonna play through both the Mario AND Luigi portions just to get footage, so most of what you'll see only involves Luigi since you have to play both of them to unlock the 121st star :)
