We’ve got a fresh EQD Session today featuring Japanese harmonica player, Natsuki Kurai! Natsuki will take you on a short trip with his harmonica and pedals. Close your eyes and feel the sounds he makes.

Natsuki uses a lot of samples and loops, and his choice of EQD pedals are perfect for processing harmonica sounds. He skillfully changes the scales of loops with Afterneath and Data Corrupter, and uses the Rainbow Machine and Avalanche Run to create an otherworldly space that spreads high into the sky. The Arpanoid's fast, random arpeggios create scenes that feel like you're communicating with the cosmos.

We love players like Natsuki. He’s got an amazing expressiveness of the harmonica (which he started playing at the age 5) that makes you forget about the boundaries and limitations of art and listen to the sound with a pure feeling. His soul, amplified by pedals, microphones, and amplifiers vividly reach out to you.

This session is truly unlike any other and widens the boundaries of how you can use effects pedals, we hope you enjoy!
