Tarim (bahasa Arab: تريم‎ tarīm) adalah sebuah kota bersejarah yang terletak di Hadhramaut, Yaman. Di Tarim terdapat banyak masjid, jumlahnya mencapai 360 buah, sesuai dengan jumlah hari dalam 1 tahun, selain itu Tarim juga dikenal dengan keilmuan dan ulama, adapun ulama yang saat ini berasal dari Tarim adalah Habib Salim Assyatiri, Habib Abdullah bin Syihab Habib Umar bin Hafidz dan Habib Ali Al-Jufri. Tarim merupakan pusat pendidikan madzhab Imam Syafii, seperti Ribath Tarim, Darul Mushtafa dan Fakultas Syariah Universitas Al-Ahgaff.

Tarim (Arabic: تَرِيْم‎, romanized: Tarīm) is a historic town situated in the Hadhramaut Valley of South Yemen, in the southern part of the Arabian Peninsula. Tarim is widely acknowledged as the theological, juridical, and academic center of the Hadhramaut Valley. An important focus of Islamic learning, it is estimated to contain the highest concentration of descendants of the Prophet Muhammad (sayyids) anywhere in the world.[1] The city is distinguished for producing numerous Islamic scholars, including Imam al-Haddad. Additionally, Tarim is also home to Dar al-Mustafa, a well-known educational institute for the study of traditional Islamic Sciences, and Faculty of Shariah, Al-Ahgaff University.
