Why Darjeeling is 'Queen of Hills' ?
This vlog will clear this point.
There are so many things to witness in this hill station. So, after completing my 6 days trip to entire sikkim, i have reached to Darjeeling.
As per Darjeeling's local taxi association, outside taxi's are not allowed for sightseeing. So i have hired a local taxi for full day sightseeing.
I have paid INR 3000/-.
Taxi picked me at 4:00 AM to go to 'Tiger Hill' for sun rise. That sun rise was so mesmerising, when sun rays falls on Kanchenjunga ranges.

Later I visited 'Ghoom Monestry', 'Batasia Loop', 'Darjeeling railway station', 'Rock Garden', 'Peace Pagoda', 'Zoo', 'Rope way', 'Tenjing Rock' and 'Tea Garden'.
By 5:00 PM , I covered all these points and spent my evening in 'Mall Road'.
It's small hill station, bit crowded but beautiful.
I would suggest 2 days are good enough to cover all these points properly.
Since, i had only one day in Darjeeling, i couldn't travel on 'Toy Train' and 'Ropeway'.
Next day while going to 'Bagdogra' Airport, i was surprised, when i came to know that I can visit to Nepal as well on the way.
I crossed Indo-Nepal border by just showing my Indian ID Card and visited nearby 'Pashupati' market. However , all items were chinese. But at least i viisted other country.
