We are excited to announce the latest exhibition by Horacio Guerriero, artistically known as “Hogue,” titled “Zoo,” which will be held at Miami International Fine Arts (MIFA) in collaboration with The Consulate General of Uruguay in Miami.

Curated by Ms. María E. Yoguero, this exhibition will be available from May 4th to 29th, 2024. “Zoo” features a series of drawings that blend the dramatic with the comedic, challenging our perceptions and exploring the fine line between reality and illusion. With his exceptional charcoal technique, Hogue captures mythological figures and surreal scenarios that defy the gravity of their own representation, such as a Valkyrie riding a crumbling wooden horse and a winged being triumphing over a pig in a muddy terrain.

Ms. María E. Yoguero describes the works as “a bold exploration of pseudo-verisimilitude, where characters defy their own critical realities and transform drama into something burlesque and pathetic.” Don't miss this incredible exhibition that will leave you questioning what's real and what's not!
