Would you get up at 4 in the morning to see this sunrise? Angkor Wat is famous for being one of the most beautiful sunrise locations in the world as well as being one of the ancient wonders. We visited Siem Reap and took a Tuk Tuk out to see the Sunrise at 4am (special shout out to our driver 'Mr Black' for putting up with this). The sunrise really does defy words and being there is person reminds us of how lucky we are to be doing this trip. If you can add this to your bucket list. You should.

Tickets for Angkor Wat can be purchased the day before if you don't want to risk missing it in the morning. There are 1, 3 and 7 day passes that can be purchased (make sure you have USD for this). Once you have your ticket, you can head on over. Tickets are checked at the individual temples within the complex and the ticket will give you access to all of them (did we mention that it's one of the largest archeological complexes in the world?)
