Hollywood writers are on strike. Since July.14, the actors (SAG-AFTRA) are on strike as well.

What makes this strike very complex is that there are newly powerful players in the mix with different agendas. Namely, it's the streaming tech giants -- Netflix, Apple, Amazon. This situation is bigger than the writers, and I think, bigger than Hollywood.
