Finally made the jump from a 15 year old Brinkmann electric and a well used Brinkmann offset smoker to the big leagues! It has been a year in the making. With a LOT of research: talking to friends with smokers, reading the smokingmeat.com forums and investigating websites, I took the chance and built a big trailer smoker. With a little help from my buddy Dave Burch to stick weld the fire box and attach it (my small MIG is not very good with heavy 1/4 plate), everything else was built in my yard. It took about 5 weeks to complete the build, this thing runs like a champ!
Enjoy the slideshow, feel free to ask questions or submit comments. Thanks to all the people that posted their reverse flow smoker builds here on YouTube, it was a big help!
