Hey folks! I hope this video will be useful for students and apprentices, as well as for training coordinators and instructors looking for curriculum in this new era of remote learning. It is part of an extremely detailed project walkthrough from print to final part. I recommend that you follow along with the project packet and try to make your own!

This is the first lecture for the "Threaded Shaft" project in Machine Technology 210, the introductory manual machining course at Laney College in Oakland, CA. The lecture covers an overview of the project and the process used to manufacture the part, as well as feed and speed calculations for the various tools used.
