Following his critically acclaimed album "Remember Why You Started", the album’s remix packs which featured legends like Ellen Allien, Slam, Thomas P. Heckmann and Boston 168 revisiting Regal’s creations and a bunch of reworks of legendary techno tracks, the Spanish techno master is back on track with an EP showcasing his dynamic range.

The opening track "Push It" kicks off with vibrant hard groove and Hi-NRG influences, reviving an iconic old-school vocal from 1986, masterfully integrating 80’s breaks and modern sound design with synth leads to capture the essence of a timeless hit. The title track "Not Another Summer“ follows with a deep, slowed vocal chop, setting a rich, compelling tone. The dynamic bassline and the rolling groove, punctuated by classic chord stabs, robotic sci-fi effects and interlaced vocal fragments, craft a lively, engaging dance experience.

The mood shifts in "2009 En El Desierto“, where an evolving bassline and a stomping kick drum lay the foundation for an old-school techno banger. Tribal bongos infuse a mystical layer, blending with a distinctively chopped vocal that harks back to the nostalgic beats of Spain's legendary Monegros Festival in 2009. "Snatch" closes up the EP with warmth and vibrancy. A stutter-effect female vocal melds into the groove, enhanced by futuristic suspense-building sound effects. The track’s evolving chord melody adds depth and excitement, providing a captivating conclusion to this EP, showcasing a more housy and groovy side of the Spanish techno icon.
